With over two decades of experience in the luxury beauty industry, Christian V. is a seasoned makeup artist dedicated to celebrating individuality through the transformative power of makeup. Beginning his career at an Estee Lauder counter on California's stunning Central Coast, he quickly honed his craft, working with a diverse clientele that spans all ages and skin tones.

Christian's journey has taken him through the halls of leading prestige retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Sephora, Bluemercury, and the iconic Barney's New York. His expertise shines through collaborations with renowned brands such as Pat McGrath Labs, CHANEL, Dior, Bobbi Brown, Trish McEvoy, NARS, shu uemura, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Laura Mercier, and Benefit, along with a formative stint at the original M.A.C Pro store in Chicago.

A true artist, Christian has contributed to exciting projects for platforms like Refinery 29 and innovative brush lines like Omnia and Moda. He has been privileged to work alongside beauty luminaries such as Trish McEvoy, Charlotte Tilbury, and Gina Brooke (Madonna's makeup artist), during their dynamic appearances in Chicago. His runway experience is equally impressive, having created breathtaking looks for fashion shows featuring designers like Valentino, Yigal Azrouel, and CHANEL. Christian's artistry also extends to Chicago's celebrated ATOM-r Collective, where he designed unique makeup styles for the talented dancers.

Inspired by beauty legends like Bobbi Brown, Pat McGrath, Way Bandy, Sam Fine, Francois Nars, and Kevyn Aucoin, Christian infuses his work with elements from fashion and pop culture. Influenced by the edgy aesthetics of goth and new wave bands, as well as visionary designers like Alessandro Michele, Rick Owens, and Tom Ford, he believes that makeup is the ultimate form of self-expression—there are no rules!

Christian's beauty philosophy centers on enhancing natural beauty while encouraging authenticity. “Makeup should amplify your best self, not mask it. Always have fun and express who you are! As an esthetician, I believe that great makeup starts with exceptional skincare.”

With an advanced skill set, a keen eye for current trends, and a passion for fashion, Christian is committed to creating custom looks tailored just for you. When he’s not dazzling clients, he serves as an Esthetics and Makeup Educator at the Aveda Institute in Chicago, nurturing the next generation of beauty professionals. A proud graduate of the Aveda Institute, Christian is a licensed Esthetician and Esthtics Educator in Illinois, certified in Lash Extensions, Airbrush Makeup, Chemical Peels and more.
